شهریاری همچنین از فعالان عرصه رسانه بود که مقالات فراوان علمی در خصوص تاریخ جنوب کرمان در مطبوعات به چاپ رساند.
ضایعه درگذشت این استاد فرهیخته را به مردم فرهنگ دوست جنوب کشور تسلیت می گوییم.
